Sea Nymphs

*

Sea nymphs come to me on wintry nights

Slender bodies with exotic sights.

Breasts kissing the crest of a wave.

Fingers like coral, curves closing in.

*

on wintry nights sea nymphs cover me with their arms.

I have inhaled their girlish aromas and musky charms.

Yes, sea nymphs come to me.

*

One wintry night in the depths of a dream,

I rode one all the way to the city of Bream.

All stretched out under a midnight starry sky was I.

I pulled moon beams and seaweed from her hair

while my arm caressed her gently.

She kissed my brow tenderly.

I blushed red quite suddenly.

With her hand she pulled back the sky

like a shadow receding she let it fly.

*

But I'll warn you, sailor, Oh sailor, my friend,

and I do not mean to give chance to offend.

Sea Nymphs with their sizzling kitchens and beds all on fire

live almost always on a different kind of plain.

Some are nocturnal and some are painted green.

Some are like lizards and some are in-between.

But should you meet one on some cold and lonely wintery night.

Be careful of your heart and don't let it take flight.

Because Sea Nymphs vanish

in the cold, objective, morning light.
